You may have come across this sort of problem or seen it on a friend laptop . the laptop is properly plugged in but for an unknown reason the battery icons is still showing 0% .
These could much relate as a hardware error which might not only cost you for a service center repair but also time.
Most of us would wish this to be a software related error. But what if it is a software error and could just be fixed with few clicks .
This solution its not guaranteed to work but its worth trying cause I have tested it and it did work
Now lets Fix your Battery :
1 - Disconnect Power from the laptop and Shut down the System
2 - After the system shuts down remove the battery form the laptop .
3 - Plug back the AC adapter then Power on your system with no battery plugged
4 - After the system is on to the desktop
Right Click my computer and select to launch Device Manager
5 - Select the battery Icon Select Microsoft Acpi Compliant Control Method Battery.
Right click > then Uninstall
Close Device manager and restart your computer .
6 - After the system shuts down . Disconnect Power ,
Plug in the battery - > Connect AC cord then Power on the system .
7 - On the desktop go to Device Manager
Select Scan for hardware changes then wait for it to detect your battery and instally the drivers .
If the error was associated to software issues this will likely help you fix your problem .
