Restrict Users to run Only Specified Programs

Did You know that Windows Allows You to Restrict Users To run software that you only specifies them to have access to without installing any application software lock ,
For example, can be set in the same way if the company does not want the employees to run all types of programs. 
By Using the Local Group Policy. You can set a list of application that users can have access to .

Here are the procedures 

Click on the Start Button and Type the Following in the searh bar  
 “gpedit.msc”




Now Enter to Open Group Policy Editor and Navigate To This Directory 

User Configuration->Administrative Templates->System

On the right hand side of the window, underSetting”, navigate and double-click onRun only specified Windows applications”.



Select Enabled from the window.
Click on “Show” under Options. 



After the Show Content Window Opens You can Type the List of Softwares that you want to let the User run 


 After Listing the Softwares Just Hit Ok
 Close the Group Policy Editor 
 You are Done 

So if Someones Tryies to open an application that you have not listed . will show like this
