Getting Started
App Inventor has minimum setup requirements and is completely browser-based .
- To use it you need a Google account .
- You also need a working Java Installation on your system as it uses Java Web Start to functioning and linking with the App Inventor software installed in your system . You can test if you have a working java installed in your system at this link Java Test Page . or download Java at www.java.com
Installation Instruction for Windows
- To use your phone as Emulator you need to download and Install MIT Aicompanion from google play .The App Inventor Companion connects your phone with the block editor via wireless and lets you see how your App works as you build it.
Once you are done with installation you are ready to start using app inventor.
Point your browser at http://beta.appinventor.mit.edu . If you have already signed with your Google account you will be directed straight to the Myproject Page or if you havent just sign in with your gmail account and start building your application.
