How to fix default gateway not available on windows 8 or 8.1

Follow the following easy steps to fix the problem

1. Open device manager
   You can open device manager by right click my computer icon followed by manage.

2. Expand network adapters
   Double click on Broadcom 802.11a network Adapter ( You might have Broadcom 802.11n network Adapter)

3. Select driver tab and click on update driver

4. Select Browse my computer for driver followed by clicking on let me pick from the list of devices drivers on my computer

5. Unchecked show compatible hardware

6. Two tabs will open that is manufacture tab and network adapter.
    From the manufacturer window select Broadcom and from the Network Adapter list select the the driver having name Broadcom 802.11a Network Adapter

7. Reconnect your wifi. And now your good to go.
