You might have been on internet .. seeing several
web blogs and have maybe wondered how the hell did they get to build such
beautiful blogs .
Its very Easy .. Creating a Blog doesn’t need you to
have any web designing knowledge .. If you are a noob user it only takes
5 – 10 minutes to build and have your own blog running .
So today I will show you how to create a simple
weblog using Blogger . But before I start exploringthe steps let us see on what you need to build a blog
Building a Blog :
1. Think about what you want to share . Blogging is writing and
Posting articles . If you are going to blog regulary you need to blog about
something that capture your passion
2. Choosing a Blog Hosting Platform . There
are numerous number of blog services over the web. Blogger { which will be discussed below } and Wordpress are one of the popular that offers free blog
services ,
3. Creating a Blog .
As I said its easy .. it doesn’t need a web designer . any person with basic
computer technology can create and have a blog running within few minutes . so
sit back and wait .
4. Customizing a Blog .
Every Blogger likes seeing high traffic on there blog. A wel customised blog
increases the number of visitors on your blog . Well written Articles , new
Ideas and Informations , Template customization etc can help you increase
number of your blog reades .
5. Use of Social sites services .
People will never know what you are doing unless you they see it . Sharing your
posts through sites like Facebook / Twitter or other social sites can drive people attention and have
them visit your blog to read what you blogging about .
Steps
in Creating a Blog on Blogger
First.
Blogger
is part of Google . Go to Blogger and sign in with your
Gmail Account . If you don't have a Gmail account Just click on Sign up and
Create a Free Gmail account.
Second.
After
you have signed In Create a Blogger Profile . This is what people will be seeing when they
view your profile on the blog . To make it easy create a blogger profile and
choose on the displayed name of your profile then Hit Continue to Blogger .
Third.
Click on new blog . This will bring up a new window to
fill. Choose the Title of your blog. On the second field type in a domain name
. The blogger engine will try to look and notify you if the domain name is
available . Your domain name/blog adress will have an address like this kiltek.blogspot.com
Then choose on a list a template which will be the default
interface of your blog pages . Don't worry it cant be changed later . Then click
on create blog
You have just created a blogspot on
blogger . You can now start posting on a your new blog . Just click on new post
icon and Create a post
Easy yah .. !!
Blogger Dashboard
The dashboard feature brings all
options into an easily accessible interface . You can use the dashboard from customizing you templates ,
layout or widgets to managing you posts . Just click on the Title of you
page on Blogger home to access the dashboard .
Blogger has
many features and I cant tell all of them here . This is just a short guide for
beginners for creating a blogger blog .. You can search over the web for
articles that can help you customize you blog and look more attractive on your
